As India strikes to build its future on anvils of education and literacy, often the development of human skills is neglected. 21.9% of population lives below poverty line with no access to education and even those who have are hardly subjected to enriching activities and workshops.
Noor-e-Syahi is an initiative taken under S.M Foundation. S.M Foundation has been established in the year 2006 and is registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860.
Sunita Murab (S.M) Foundation is an active social organization working for the empowerment and development of rural areas though upliftment of vulnerable groups, training programs and employment opportunities.
Project Noor-e- Syahi believes in over all development of an individual with correct exposure to arts and performing arts. It facilitates co-curricular enhancement as well as academic prosperity of underprivileged children. It preaches and practices the goal to provide a forum to such children for development of their soft skills, social skills and personality development and also initiates complete community evolution.
Noor-e-Syahi seeks to build a future on the pillars of development of humanistic skills by providing opportunities to flourish in a number of fields to the children as well as willing adults irrespective of their income or social position in a society.
It works to provide a complete schooling experience where chance is given to these students to explore fronts other than academics.
It believes that everyone in a society should be sensitised towards world issues and be made aware about their responsibilities.
